                                                                          Epilepsy in Men or Women

Studies have shown that men get epilepsy more than women do. In the United States over one million women have epilepsy . In men about 40 percent of men with epilepsy have low levels of Testosterone and hormones which stimulates the male sex organs. Scientist believe it is because of Anti-epileptic medication. The reduction of testosterone and hormones can change a persons mood, sexual function, bone-density, and the control of seizures. Both men and women live with epilepsy everyday, struggling with problems as they appear.
