Is it possible for a child to become depressed?

-Yes, girls are more suitable than boys. A familys history of depression could be past down to a  child.

Why do most children(ages 1-18) become depressed?

-Children that grow up to fast or deal with daily life for example...

  • watching another child being hurt
  • holding a big secret
  • Bad Grades
  • peer pressure
  • drinking or fighting
  • or even just being overwhelmed with adult responsibilities.

What are symptoms you should look for in depressed kids?
  • Crying
  • lost in physical activity(playing outside, video games etc...)
  • Missing school or poor school preformance
  • Change in sleep, apettie and energy
  • Thoughts of running away, commiting suicide or death
  • Fighting or lots of trouble
  • Feeling worthless or helpless and withdrawn.

DID YOU KNOW THAT 50% OF THE TIME WHEN THE MOTHER OF THE FAMILY IS DEPRESSED THAT THE SECOND OLDEST WILL BECOME DEPRESSED AS WELL?
