In some severe cases of Kleinfelter's syndrome, there are no treatments that are capable of hiding or disguising symptoms. In most cases though, mastectomy may be used with continuous gynecomastia. Also, supplements of testosterone may be taken to produce secondary sexual characteristics that would normally occur during puberty. A third option (sometimes used to obtain more testosterone) is called testosterone replacement therapy.
Some emotional aids include therapeutic treatment or counseling; a therapist may help with speech and behavioral issues. Younger children may qualify for educational aid (lower level learning classes) that will help them to better succeed in school.
