Sickle Cell

 

 

The signs and symptoms of sickle cell anemia vary. Some people have mild symptoms. Others have very severe symptoms and were often hospitalized for them. Sickle cell is present at birth but many new borns dont show them until about 4 months. The most common signs and symptoms are linked to anemia. Other signs and symptoms are linked to the diseases's compliants.signs and symptoms include:

 

  • Shortness of breath
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Coldness in the hands and feet
  • Pale skin

It might be better to make the pictures into links so that they don't take up the entire page. Remember to put captions describing why the pictures are there.

I like what you have done. Now I would like to see the genetic information and a section about treatments and reserach that is being done to help sickle cell patients.
